Whether you’re new to Good News or have been here a while, there are many opportunities for you to grow closer to God, build real friendships, and make a difference.
Connect to God
We want to help you connect with the Lord. There are three basic ways that we build and strengthen our connection with the Lord. They are Prayer, Worship, and the Word of God.
1. We encourage you to be a person of prayer. God answers prayer so talk to Him daily. And in your prayer life, if you need someone to agree with you, we are here. Just complete a prayer request and our prayer team will immediately begin lifting your need to the Lord. We even pray for all of our members even if they don't specifically request prayer.
2. If you want to connect with God, worship is another key. God tells us that He inhabits (makes His dwelling place) in the praises of His people. So, be a worshipper and that just doesn't mean singing or listening to Christian music. In Romans 12, the Apostle Paul tells us that they way we live our life is an act of worship to the Lord. As we live our life in a way that pleases Him, we draw closer to Him.
3. Finally, we establish a connection to the Lord through His Word. Make some time each day for His Word. At Good News Church, Pastor Newton shares messages that come directly from the heart of the Lord. They will surely feed your faith and help you connect to the Lord and His kingdom!
Connect to His church
We want to help you connect with the Lord's church. Being part of a church is vital to our faith and growth as a believer. Scripture encourages to not isolate ourselves but rather, find a way to come together as believers. For those who are not able to attend Good News Church in person, there are others ways to connect with those who share your precious faith. We encourage you to follow Good News Church on all of our social media platforms and stay connected to the body of Christ. We also encourage you to be a part of Good News Church. Connect to others
We want to help you connect with those who need to know the Lord. The Lord has created ministries like Good News Church to help equip God's people for the work of the ministry. When we get involved in serving one another through the leading of the Lord, we find that the anointing upon our lives increases. It certainly is true that we are more blessed when we give than when we receive. We encourage you to begin to look for ways to show God's love to those around you. And, you can always be a part of serving others through your support of Good News. Not only are we preaching and teaching the good news locally and around the world, we also invest in others doing the work of the Lord. When you become a partner with Good News Church, you play an important role in reaching the world with the truth of God's Word. In addition, we're also helping to provide disaster relief, assisting in the effort to stop human trafficking, providing food and ministry to impoverished children, and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to transform lives within our church and beyond.
